A figure caught mid-rise, wrapped in swathes of teal and gold that move like fabric caught in wind. The brushwork here is loose and confident, built up in translucent layers so the underpainting glows through, giving the piece a sense of light from within rather than light falling on the surface. Painted on cotton canvas, unframed, one of a kind.
